Open Access Same Time Information System (OASIS)
MCG’s OASIS Product is a fully featured and compliant transmission reservation processing system with integrated MCG Tagging and CAS interfaces to automatically calculate ATC, process schedules, calculate remaining capacity, evaluate transmission requests, and post information for reliability entities. The OASIS product includes a web based customer portal for transmission customers to create requests, query request status, query postings, review posted documents, and confirm requests. The product also includes an OASIS administration tool that is fully integrated within MCG’s CAS system allowing for administration of system settings and configurations, manual approval / denial of requests, dynamic addition of posting content, execution of bulk reductions, and creation of reports.
The system is fully compliant with the current standards and MCG’s Software Assurance ensures that the system will remain compliant with all future changes. The system will accept TTC / TRM data and calculate ATC, as well as accepting PTDF data and calculating AFC. Automatic validation and approval / denial of short term transmission requests help alleviate the need for manual review of all requests, and the validation and approval rules are fully configurable.
