In her pivotal role at SPP, Carrie oversees the development, design, and delivery of all SPP market-based services. She is the executive sponsor of Markets+, SPP’s groundbreaking regional day-ahead wholesale electricity market initiative in the Western Interconnection. Her extensive background includes work in operations, power marketing, regulatory affairs, and significant time at Xcel Energy focusing on western markets development.

Carrie holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. At the MCG Energy User Conference, she will delve into the SPP Markets+ expansion into the West and the dynamic shifts occurring within energy markets.
